Why Fitness is good for surfers?

You have tried surfing and you got addicted. Yes, we know that feeling :)

You look at surfers and you want to ride waves as good as they do. Yes, we too :)

 

However, sometimes it feels like paddling can be challenging and the ocean goes much faster and stronger than your arms. We all have gone through that in the beginning and today we would like to share a good work out that can help you to improve your surfing on your next surf trip.

 

How good are you at planking? Planking can help you your body stability and your core, therefore you can focus much more on your paddling. Try to plank every day starting from 60 seconds until you reach 2 minutes. When you can plank for over 2 minutes your core will be much stronger and you will notice the difference on your next wave and surf trip!
